 Artist Statement:  One sunny afternoon while strolling along the beach, I was inspired to paint these canoes.

Again, saturated color and dreamy blending of paint strokes firmly establish this in the same category as the other works; the still life of outrigger canoes and their late afternoon shadows give a lethargic feel to the work.
